What CEF®, Pomona Valley Chapter, does in the Pomona Valley to fulfill our Vision:
Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Pomona Valley is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian organization dedicated to reaching boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We also seek to establish the children in the Word of God and in the local churches of the Inland Empire for Christian living. Our vision is to expand this ministry so that all may hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, especially His little ones. We seek to accomplish this task through a wide-volunteer base from the area's churches. We desire to partner with churches to be able to go into the public schools with Good News Clubs®.
To accomplish our vision we need people like you to partner financially with us. We are a non-profit religious organization operating under the US Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) through the Child Evangelism Fellowship, Inc.® group exemption #2029. All donations to the ministry of CEF® are governed by the board or committee for the purpose of sharing Jesus Christ with the boys and girls in the state. Contributions less the value of goods or services received are allowable deductions.
Please consider a monthly gift of $10, $20 or more. You can mail your gift to CEF Pomona Valley Chapter, PO Box 533, Upland, CA 91785. Your investment in the lives of our children today will bring much fruit that will have eternal ramifications. The children are ready and eager to hear the Good News in public schools. Will you help by financially partnering with us?
We are dedicated to the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20:
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Further, our purpose is to provide training and workshops for GNC® teachers, Sunday School teachers, or anyone working with children. These are planned periodically throughout the year.
Good News Clubs® (GNC) 2011-2012 School Year
For school year 2010-2011, we were in 22 of our public schools in the cities of Alta Loma, Chino, Etiwanda, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, San Dimas and Upland. We have arranged for GNCs in Alta Loma School District, Bonita Unified School District, Central School District, Chino Unified School District, Etiwanda School District, and the Upland Unified School District.
We are currently in 9 schools for the year 2011-2012 in the same school districts and cities as 2010-2011 above. The clubs usually start at the beginning of the school year and run through the end of May, excluding holidays and minimum days. Permission slips are REQUIRED for each child to be able to attend. Please download a generic permission slip for you to send with your child the first day he/she attends Good News Club; you need to insert the day, date, time of the Good News Club and the school for your information -- the information can be found on our Good News Clubs page and you click below view this information. The bottom part of the form needs to be returned with the child. You may click here for a copy to send with your child/ren.
To see what schools have Good News Clubs® for this year and the dates of start up and times of meeting, please click here. We currently are understaffed for our Good News Clubs. We would love to have more schools open, however, the safety of the children is more important than just having a large number of schools open. Our Child Protection Policy requires at least two adults per club and these people need to be properly screened and trained. Perhaps you have a desire to reach children with the Good News of Jesus Christ. If so, we have so many opportunities to offer. Please call our office and we will connect with you at your convenience to share the program with you.

5-Day Clubs® are held during the summer at individuals homes. Please be praying about sending more kids (15 years old - College age) to the training and getting them to conduct the 5-Day Clubs® in our area. Indeed, the harvest is ripe but workers are few.
Will you prayerfully consider hosting 5-Day Club® in your home for summer,2012? You simply open your home, provide refreshments and invite the neighborhood kids; the CYIA™ missionaries do the rest. The kids enjoy missionary stories, Bible stories, memory verses, games and singing fun Christian songs with a purpose. What a great way to make an impact in your neighborhood!
